An honor graduate of Gardner-Webb University, former collegiate football player, husband, and father, he travels nationwide sharing his story of faith, overcoming anxiety, and helping others find identity beyond performance.

Fernando Velasco

Fernando Velasco

Former NFL Veteran, Speaker & Founder of the Velasco Family Foundation

Fernando Velasco is a former NFL veteran, speaker, and servant leader dedicated to developing people on and off the field. A standout at the University of Georgia, he played nine seasons in the NFL as an offensive lineman, building a reputation for leadership, resilience, and consistency at the highest level. Originally from Wrens, Georgia, his journey has always been rooted in faith, perseverance, and purpose — crediting God as the foundation for his life and calling. Following his playing career, Fernando founded the Velasco Family Foundation, empowering youth and families through leadership, identity, and mental wellness programming via retreats, camps, and mentorship initiatives. His signature message, Beyond the Mask, challenges individuals to move beyond performance, confront what lies beneath the surface, and live fully seen in alignment with who God created them to be. A family man at his core, he is married to his wife Kamille and is the proud father of sons Alex and Kalen (KJ), residing in Buford, Georgia.

Jessica Myers

Jessica Myers

Keynote Speaker, Mental Strength Training & Master Visualization Coach · Founder of Be YOU Bloom® LLC

Jessica specializes in training the part of the mind that drives over 90% of results — the unconscious. Through Head Coach Manny Diaz, she worked with Duke Football using mental rehearsal, EFT Tapping, and guided imagery, approaches he says contributed to the program's 2025 ACC Championship victory. She also served as an instructor on EFT Tapping through Duke Integrative Medicine Center's Health and Well-Being Programs — a modality used by professional teams and Olympic athletes for focus and optimal performance. A former professional actor, Jessica worked with Vin Diesel, Zoe Saldaña, and Black Panther director Ryan Coogler, with appearances on General Hospital and All My Children, and she continues to work with professional actors on the mental aspect of their craft. She later became a senior director for multi-specialty medical practices serving professional sports teams, including the Lakers. Today she partners with players, coaches, surgeons, medical professionals, law enforcement, and executive leaders in architecting the MindRIGHT™ for optimal human functioning.

Licensed Counselor, Owner of My Awesome Coach & Co-Founder of Rogue Reins

Kristen is a licensed professional counselor and equine-assisted therapist who specializes in solution-focused, experiential approaches that help individuals, teams, and organizations gain clarity, improve performance, and create real forward momentum in both their personal and professional lives. She works with athletes, couples, executives, high-performing professionals, and high-profile clients seeking a more dynamic approach to growth and mental wellness, and facilitates workshops, retreats, and team-building experiences designed to strengthen communication, leadership, resilience, and connection. Kristen has partnered with organizations such as United Way, served as a mental health influencer with BetterHelp, and serves on the Program Coordinating Committee for the Marietta Housing Authority's annual Youth Summit. Known for her grounded presence and direct approach, she helps people step outside of autopilot, build confidence, strengthen relationships, and reconnect with what matters most in a way that feels honest, empowering, and enjoyable.

Pastor Joshua Chiles

Pastor, Speaking Spirit Ministries Charlotte Campus

Affectionately known as PJC, Pastor Josh pastors Speaking Spirit Ministries Charlotte Campus — the home of The Hope Giver — committed to loving, serving, and growing people with vision, integrity, and a passion for developing believers. By the grace of God, he earned a Division I basketball scholarship to Gardner-Webb University, graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, and later earned a Master of Divinity from Erskine Theological Seminary. Pastor Chiles has made history as the first African American Campus Chaplain at Erskine College and the first African American male pastor of New Faith Presbyterian Church in Upstate South Carolina. Formerly the Pastor of The Life Center, he now walks boldly in his calling helping expand Speaking Spirit Ministries. A man of character who honors God in every assignment, he is joyfully married to his best friend and ministry partner Lady Jenae Chiles, and they are the proud parents of Jenasis, Joshua II, and Joylynn.
